Arsenal moved two Premier League matches in March for a television coverage.
With the fifth round of the FA Cup which will be played on the first weekend in March and an international truce to face also, Arsenal will only play two championship matches during an unusually calm month.
The Gunners will now go to Old Trafford to face Manchester United on Sunday March 9, this match being planned for the start at 4.30 p.m. GMT on Sky Sports.
The Mikel Arteta team is looking to take revenge, after United beat them on penalties to eliminate them from the FA Cup earlier this month.
There was also a change in the Arsenal at home match against Chelsea, which is now scheduled for Sunday, March 16.
However, the final of the Carabao Cup will take place on the same day and therefore the derby with the Blues will be postponed if Arsenal reserves its place in Wembley.
It will take an impressive turnaround for the Gunners to achieve it, after losing 2-0 at home against Newcastle in the first leg of this semi-final.
The return match to St. James’ Park will take place on February 5, the winner will face Liverpool or Tottenham in the final.
If Arsenal was to be eliminated, they would face Chelsea on March 16, but the time for kick -off has not yet been formalized.
The Emirates Stadium match will start at 12:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m., this decision coming once the timetables of the Carabao Cup final will have been confirmed.
