Mikel Arteta believes Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard are full of confidence again and ready to breathe life into Arsenal’s attack.
Both men have been through tough seasons, but both have started to return to form over the past 10 days.
Arsenal have scored seven goals in their last three games, with Martinelli and Trossard directly involved in four of them.
Arteta said: “Normally all top players have moments – and they are in a strong moment right now.
“They are in a good position in terms of confidence, physically and they contribute very well in the offensive phase, so that’s good.
“It is very difficult to expect the same impact from players every three days, especially with the number of matches they have to play.”
Both Martinelli and Trossard hope to start for Wolves on Saturday when Arsenal travel to Molineux in search of all three points.
The Gunners are chasing Liverpool in the title race and are currently six points behind the Premier League leaders, who have a game in hand.
“The margins are really very small,” Arteta said. “You can see how things could have gone last weekend: the turns are minimal and the gap is certainly very different. We have to go, we have to do what is in our hands and there is still a very long way to go.
Arsenal beat Wolves on the opening day of this season, but they have a new manager in charge after Vitor Pereira replaced Gary O’Neil last month.
Arteta expects a tough test from Wolves and has warned his side on Saturday will not be an easy game.
He had a very good impact on the team, it will be a really difficult match

“He’s already been here for a few weeks, so we already know and I know Vitor very well from previous clubs as well, what his ideas are, and it’s very clear how he puts his team together,” Arteta said on Friday.
“He had a really good impact on the team, and it’s going to be a really tough game tomorrow.” They’re a really well-coached team, and above all, they’re hard to beat.
“The structure and organization is different, there are some very clear principles about what he wants to achieve with and without the ball, as well as certain players at different times. Now they’re in a different time as well, so it’s all important.
“They did it differently throughout the matches, whatever the opposition and whatever the results. So that says a lot about their intentions, so we will have to understand very quickly what kind of game they want to offer and what is good for us.
