2025 promises to be an exciting new year in the world of sport.
Here, the PA press agency selects 10 stars that should shine.
Ellie Kildune
The English rear was named women’s player of the year at XV during the World Rugby Awards in November. Kildunne, 25, helped England win the Grand Slam of the Six Nations 2024, in which she was the best test rider, and will aim for success in the World Cup in 2025.
Keely Hodgkinson
The Olympic champion of the 800 MA was crowned British queen of the track in Paris and won her nine races in this event in 2024. The young woman of 22, who was appointed member of the Order of the British Empire during From the New Year Honors, will be back in 2025 with the aim of breaking the world record of the 800m established since 1983 and winning the glory of the world championships in Tokyo.
Luc Littler
The prodigy of the Littleler darts burst into the world championship scene last December, reaching the final at the age of 16. Littleler has won 10 senior events from the Professional Darts Corporation since its 17th birthday – including the Premier League, Grand Chelem and World Series titles – and is now the biggest name in sport.
Lauren Chanvre
The talented Manchester City striker is currently recovering from an operation at the knee and the owner of England, Sarina Wiegman, will want her to come back to the field as soon as possible before Euro 2025. Direct race, rhythm and HEMP’s threat of goal probably makes her the only attacker guarantees a place in Wiegman begins the eleven when he is in good shape.
Hamzah Sheeraz
The unbeaten average weight Sheeraz, from Irford, was extremely promising by climbing the ladder, with 17 victories by direct elimination in 21 fights. Archie Vaughan

Emmanuel Feyi-Waboso
Having chosen to play for England rather than for Wales, the winger of Exeter, born in Cardiff, reached the test field with five trials in eight appearances. The 21 -year -old has an electric rhythm and a raw force and should make his way through the British and Irish Lions team for the summer tour in Australia.
Caroline Dubois
Cadet sister of the IBF world champion in heavy goods vehicles Daniel, Dubois made the headlines in the boxing ring. The 23 -year -old player, unbeaten in 10 fights, has the world’s world WBC WBC WBC title since August and is able to unify the division in the coming years.
Ben Doak
The 19 -year -old Scottish winger reached his majority on the international scene by turning the Croatian defender of Manchester City, Josko Gvardiol, in Hampden Park last month. The talent of Liverpool, Doak, shone on loan to Middlesbrough this season with six assists for the Sky Bet Championship club in November.
